Last updated: 21 June 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Lagra Wedding handles personal information when you visit our website, make an enquiry, book wedding photography or videography, or otherwise contact us.

Who we are

Lagra Wedding is a registered business based in Kilkenny, Ireland. It is operated by registered proprietor Syam Pazhooparambil Shanmughan together with co-owner Rensmon Issac. For data protection questions, contact lagrawedding@gmail.com.

Information we collect

  • Your name, email address, telephone number and contact preferences.
  • Wedding date, venue, selected package and details included in your enquiry.
  • Booking records, contracts, invoices and payment records. Our website does not collect or store card details.
  • Wedding photographs, video, audio and other material created while providing our services.
  • Messages sent through email or WhatsApp.

How and why we use information

  • To reply to enquiries and take steps requested before entering a contract.
  • To manage bookings and provide photography, videography, editing, album and delivery services under our contract with you.
  • To issue invoices, maintain business records and meet legal or tax obligations.
  • To protect our services and establish or defend legal claims where this is in our legitimate interests.
  • To publish photographs or videos on our website, portfolio or social media only where the couple has given permission.

Who we share information with

Photography, videography and editing are carried out by our own team. Where necessary to fulfil your booking, selected images, names or delivery details may be shared with a trusted album printing supplier. We may also use service providers for email, hosting, file storage, banking and communications. We only share information needed for the relevant service and do not sell personal information.

If you contact us through WhatsApp, your use of that service is also subject to WhatsApp's privacy terms. YouTube videos and Google Maps load only after you accept optional cookies; those providers may process technical information under their own privacy terms.

International transfers

Some technology providers may process information outside the European Economic Area. Where this applies, we rely on the provider's applicable data protection safeguards and contractual arrangements.

How long we keep information

  • Enquiries that do not become bookings: up to 12 months.
  • Contracts, invoices and payment records: up to 6 years, or longer where legally required.
  • Raw wedding photo and video files: normally up to 6 months after delivery.
  • Final delivered photographs and videos: normally up to 12 months after delivery.
  • Published portfolio material: until permission is withdrawn or the material is no longer required, subject to contractual and legal rights.

Security

We use reasonable organisational and technical measures to protect information, including access controls, account security and backup storage. No internet or storage system is completely secure, so clients should also keep their own copies of delivered files.

Your data protection rights

Depending on the circumstances, you may have rights to access, correct, erase or restrict your personal information, receive a portable copy, object to certain processing, and withdraw consent. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that was lawful before withdrawal.

To exercise your rights, email lagrawedding@gmail.com. You may also complain to the Data Protection Commission in Ireland.
