Booking Terms & Conditions
Last updated: 21 June 2026
These terms apply to consumer bookings for wedding photography, videography and related services supplied by Lagra Wedding. Your booking-specific agreement and written quotation will identify the event date, venue, package, coverage, price and any agreed extras. If a booking-specific term conflicts with this page, the signed agreement will apply, subject to mandatory consumer law.
1. Service provider
The service provider is Syam Pazhooparambil Shanmughan, trading as Lagra Wedding, a registered business based in Kilkenny, Ireland. Rensmon Issac is co-owner and photographer. Contact: lagrawedding@gmail.com.
2. Booking and confirmation
A date is not confirmed until the booking agreement has been accepted and the agreed 20% booking deposit has cleared. The signed agreement or written confirmation will specify the exact services, total price, deposit, event date and payment schedule. A quotation alone does not reserve a date.
3. Payment
The remaining 80% balance is due no later than 14 days before the wedding unless the booking agreement states otherwise. Payment is accepted by bank transfer. The website does not collect card details. Any invoice or payment query should be raised promptly.
4. Cooling-off and statutory rights
Where a statutory cancellation right applies to a distance or off-premises contract, the client may notify us within the applicable 14-day period by emailing lagrawedding@gmail.com. If the client expressly asks us to begin services during that period, the client may be responsible for a proportionate amount for services already supplied, as permitted by law. Nothing in these terms limits mandatory rights under Irish consumer law.
5. Client cancellation
Cancellation must be sent in writing by email. After any applicable statutory cancellation period, the 20% deposit may be retained only to the extent reasonably required for administration, work already completed and actual loss caused by reserving the date. Any additional cancellation amount will be limited to reasonable, evidenced loss, taking account of costs saved and any replacement booking obtained for the date. We do not impose an excessive cancellation penalty.
6. Rescheduling
The booking may be transferred once, without a rescheduling fee, to an available date within 12 months of the original wedding date. The client should notify us as early as possible. A transfer depends on our availability and may require payment of genuine additional travel, accommodation, venue or supplier costs disclosed and agreed in advance. If no suitable date is available, the cancellation terms will apply.
7. Cancellation by Lagra Wedding
If serious illness or an emergency prevents the assigned photographer or videographer from attending, we will make reasonable efforts to arrange a suitable replacement with the client's agreement. If we cannot provide the affected service, payments received for that service will be refunded. The client may instead agree to another reasonable solution. This does not affect statutory remedies.
8. Events outside reasonable control
Severe weather, unsafe conditions, transport disruption, venue restrictions, government measures and similar events outside either party's reasonable control may affect performance. Both parties will act reasonably to agree rescheduling or another fair solution. Services already properly supplied and unavoidable, agreed costs will be taken into account.
9. Coverage and cooperation
The client should provide an accurate schedule, venue rules, key contacts and a list of important people, ceremonies and requested group photographs in good time. We cannot guarantee that every guest, moment or requested pose will be captured. Coverage can be affected by delays, weather, lighting, venue restrictions, safety issues or interference by guests and other suppliers. This clause does not exclude responsibility for our failure to use reasonable care and skill.
10. Creative style and editing
By booking, the client confirms that they have reviewed our portfolio and understand our general photographic, filming and editing style. Selection and editing are part of the creative service. Reasonable concerns about conformity with the agreed service will be considered in accordance with Irish consumer law.
11. Delivery
Typical delivery is 2 to 4 weeks for photographs and 4 to 8 weeks for wedding films. These are estimates and may vary by season, package, client feedback, album approval or circumstances outside our control. We will communicate any material delay. Clients should download delivered files promptly and maintain their own backups.
12. Albums and printing
Where an album is included, the client is responsible for checking names, wording, image selection and layout proofs before approval. Printing begins only after approval. Reasonable colour and material variation can occur between screens, photographic prints and album materials. Any extra cost or supplier delay will be communicated.
13. Extra hours and travel
The quotation will identify included coverage hours, locations and travel. Additional hours, long-distance travel, parking, tolls or accommodation will be charged only where disclosed and agreed in advance, except where the client requests an unplanned extension on the wedding day and agrees the stated rate.
14. Copyright and personal use
Lagra Wedding retains copyright in the photographs and films it creates. After full payment, the client receives a personal-use licence to download, store, print and share delivered work with family and on personal social media. Commercial use, resale, advertising or supply to a commercial third party requires written permission.
15. Portfolio permission
We will publish a couple's photographs or videos on our website, portfolio or social media only where permission has been given. Portfolio permission should be presented separately as a clear Yes or No choice and may be withdrawn for future use by contacting us, subject to material already lawfully printed or published and any other applicable legal rights.
16. Privacy
Personal information is handled as described in our Privacy Policy. Optional website embeds are described in our Cookie Policy.
17. Concerns and complaints
Please contact us promptly at lagrawedding@gmail.com so we can try to resolve any concern fairly. These terms are governed by Irish law, but they do not restrict any mandatory consumer right, legal remedy or right to bring a claim in a court with jurisdiction.
